Making Electric Motors by Johnathan and Karl
We tried to make an electric motor. Some of us succeeded and some of us didn't. We found out that you need a good battery, the coil needs to be adjusted, a good wire, and the paper clips need to be faced the right way with the coil wire setting correctly on the paper clips, and they need to be secured to the clay. We used magnets to help the coil spin. It is frustrating when the motor doesn't work. We had to try different things to see what worked best. We are going to do this activity again tomorrow.
